How does the money deduction formula work when upgrading plans?
When you upgrade to a higher plan, we calculate your money deduction using a prorated formula based on the unused time remaining on your current plan:
Money Deduction Amount = (Remaining Days / Total Days) × Current Plan Price
This money deduction amount is then applied as a credit toward your new plan, reducing the amount you need to pay for the upgrade.
For example, Your current plan is $1,000 and it starts from 1/1/2025 and ends on 12/31/2025 (1 year). And now is 03/23/2025. So the remaining days are 365 - 82 = 283 days. So the money deduction amount is $1,000 * (283/365) = $775.34.
